The Spellbook Builder allows users to virtually create and edit any
of the known spellbooks in the world of Alyria. In this way, you may
design a book's contents and see the result before having to actually
scribe a single spell, thus taking the guess work out of making your
next spellbook.
The spell book list:
This is a list of all known spellbooks and their specifications. To begin,
simply select a book using the radio buttons on the left hand side
of the list. Scroll down to the bottom and click the 'Select Book'
button.
Adding Spells:
Once you have selected a book to work with, you may begin to add spells
to it. If the book comes with any spells in it by defualt, they will
apear in the book display to the left of the spells list. The list
of spells will show you only those spells which may be written into
the book. If the book does not have enough complexity, or pages for
a spell, the list will not display it.
Deleting Spells:
To delete a spell from your book display select the radio button of the
spell and click the 'Delete Spell' button. The book will update the
complexity and pages upon refresh.
Reseting Spells:
Should you find the need to reset the list of spells for a book, clicking
the 'Reset Book' button will bring the book to it's defualt status.
Any spells in the book by default will reappear in the list.
Changing Books:
You may keep the same list of spells and transfer them to a different
book. To do this scroll down to the list of books. Again select the
one you would like using the radio buttons to the left and click 'Change
Book'.
Starting Over:
You may start over one of two ways:
1) You may select a new book from the list provided and click the 'New
book' button.
2) You may click 'Reset All' at the very bottom of the page to reset
everything.
